License Activation
Before you start, make sure you have a license key. If you don't have one yet, see Get a License.
Activation is automatic. Enter your license key in the Superhome Configuration tab and start the app. When the logs show License activated, the AI models are loaded and Superhome is ready.
After a Home Assistant Reinstall
A license is associated with one Home Assistant installation at a time. If you reinstall or restore Home Assistant, Superhome detects the change on the next start and shows a "Re-associate" banner in the Hub.
Steps
1. Open the Hub
Navigate to the Superhome web UI. A banner will be visible at the top of the Hub page.
2. Click "Re-associate"
No re-authentication needed. The system re-associates the license to the new Home Assistant installation and inference resumes normally.
Superhome's configuration and history live in a separate data volume. Reinstalling HA does not affect them.
