Gesture Reference
Superhome reads static hand poses: the shape of your hand at a moment in time, not movement. This makes it fast and hard to trigger accidentally.
System Modes
| Mode | What it means |

| Scanning | No hand detected. System is idle, waiting. |
| Selection | L-gesture detected. Entity cycles with each new L-gesture hold. |
| Control | Open palm detected. System is ready to toggle or cycle brightness. |
Gesture Actions

| Open palm, sustained | Hold open palm longer (default ~2 s per step, configurable) | air_hold, cycle brightness: 25% → 50% → 75% → 100% → off |
Keep your hand still
Keep your hand reasonably still while holding a pose. Brief wobbles are smoothed by hysteresis. Rapid motion blur (e.g. waving to enter a room) is intentionally ignored: you must hold the gesture deliberately.
